Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Approved Industrial Electrician based in the North East UK. The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in industrial settings. Day-to-day tasks include installation of cable containment, cabling of various types, glanding and terminating of cabling, testing and verification. The role also involves working within ATEX hazardous areas and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
* Experience in industrial areas and installations is desirable.
* Skills in maintenance & repair and preventive maintenance.
* Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
* Experience with control panels and reading schematic diagrams is a plus.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations and standards.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Relevant certifications & qualifications in electrical installation and testing & inspection.
* Experience in the chemical or pharmaceutical industries is a plus.
