Day Carer – E20
Pay: £15.29 per hour on weekdays; £18.35 per hour on weekends. Bonuses: £400 joining bonus, £150 for paid training, and £250 after probation. Immediate start available.
About the Role
We are looking for a calm, compassionate, and organised day carer to support a young gentleman with a spinal cord injury following discharge from specialist rehabilitation. The role takes place in the client’s home in the E20 area, with excellent transport links.
Responsibilities
* Assist with washing, dressing, showering, and personal care.
* Support bowel and bladder routines as per care guidance.
* Assist with safe transfers and wheelchair‑based mobility.
* Support daily rehabilitation exercises directed by therapy teams.
* Prepare balanced meals to support recovery and wellbeing.
* Maintain a clean, tidy, well‑organised home.
* Encourage independence and follow a calm, structured routine.
* Observe and record wellbeing and ensure safety.
* Arrange transportation for appointments when needed.
Requirements
* Right to work in the UK.
* Completed enhanced DBS check or updated DBS Service.
* References available.
