Overview
We have an exciting opportunity in Ealing community partners (ECP) for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Lead medicines management pharmacy technician, who is keen to lead with innovation and has a drive for development.
The post is full time. However will be considered at 4 days per week
Responsibilities
 * Lead the pharmacy technician team, manage the satellite dispensary, stock control, lead audits, manage staff and support the development and review of allocated projects, policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
 * Lead medicines management for community services including district nursing, diabetes, podiatry and musculoskeletal (MSK).
 * Support education and training of pharmacy technicians, students and assistants, and provide medicines management training for the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT).
 * Travel across multiple trust sites in a timely manner as part of agile working.
 * Work closely with the clinical ward based pharmacy team, managing Pharmacy Technicians and the satellite dispensary.
 * Improve quality standards within the department and provide safe and cost-effective provision of medication.
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills; ability to work well both in a team and autonomously; leadership, management and quality improvement processes; support education and training; travel availability across trust sites.
