We have a great opportunity to join Thames Water as an Operations Performance Manager, working across Witney and the surrounding area. You will assist with the daily operations of up to 15 Sewage Treatment Works and manage a small, multi-skilled team of up to 12 technicians.
With a focus on environmental impact, your role will involve driving improvements in site operations and asset management, aiming to benefit customers and the environment. You'll need to inspire and motivate your team, fostering a strong team environment through empathy and understanding.
You will operate from the main site at Witney STW, with travel required to other sites, making a driving license and car essential. The role involves 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with participation in an out-of-hours rota for escalations, as we operate 24/7.

1. Health and Safety: Leading the team’s health and safety culture, ensuring compliance and promoting good practices daily.
2. Process Management: Ensuring site compliance, plant availability, and reliability to meet quality targets set by regulators.
3. Performance Management: Driving team performance, development, and safety awareness.
4. Financial Management: Managing budgets and driving operational efficiencies.
5. Customer & Stakeholder Management: Providing exceptional service and proactive engagement with customers.
Requirements:
* Experience managing operational teams with strong leadership and motivational skills.
* Proven ability to foster a health and safety culture, ideally IOSH qualified.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adaptable and decisive.
* Track record of raising team standards.
* Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
