An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time (30 hours) Team Administrator within the Children in Care and Adoption Team, working Monday to Friday.
To succeed, you will need excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. You will develop and maintain administrative systems to support policies and processes, undertake general office duties, and work with electronic patient record systems.
You should be comfortable working under pressure, adept at prioritising workloads, and able to meet tight deadlines. You will be supported to enhance your professional knowledge, skills, and development within this specialized area.
We offer regular appraisals, management reviews, and opportunities for mandatory and role-specific training.
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and committed team administrator to support the Children in Care Service, which includes Community Paediatricians, Nurses, and Multi-Agency Teams. You will need excellent communication skills, a good knowledge of Microsoft Office, and ideally possess an admin qualification or equivalent.
Essential qualifications and experience include:
* RSA III Typing or equivalent
* GCSEs Grade C or above in English
* Proficiency in MS Office applications
* Experience in a healthcare setting and knowledge of TPP SystmOne
* Ability to organize, prioritize, and maintain confidentiality
Preferred experience includes NHS background and understanding of local authority procedures.
Key skills include excellent communication, organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and discretion handling sensitive information. Flexibility, emotional resilience, and the ability to travel are also important.
