On behalf of our client, a prominent leader in the transportation sector, we are conducting a search for a strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
-- MISSION --
This is a critical executive leadership position, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. You will be responsible for the financial stewardship of the business, ensuring its long-term financial health, sustainability, and compliance. As a key member of the executive team, you will provide robust financial direction and partner with the CEO to drive growth and strategic initiatives. The CFO will have oversight of corporate finance, procurement, and business planning functions
-- RESPONSIBILITIES –
* Shape and execute the company's financial roadmap to align with ambitious growth, investment, and sustainability objectives.
* Provide data-driven commercial insights to guide critical decisions on pricing, network expansion, and capital deployment.
* Lead all aspects of financial governance and control, ensuring accurate reporting and robust compliance across all business units.
* Drive the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes to foster informed decision-making and operational accountability.
* Maintain the company's financial resilience through effective management of cash flow, treasury, funding, and liquidity.
* Develop and lead strategic sourcing and procurement strategies to ensure value, efficiency, and operational alignment.
* Act as a key representative of the business in financial discussions with partners, shareholders, and regulators.
-- REQUIREMENTS –
* Holds a Master's in Finance or similar advanced degree and a relevant charted qualification.
* Brings a minimum of 10 years of experience in a CFO role.
* Has an understanding of operational economics and regulatory frameworks, ideally within the transport sector.
