We have an exciting opportunity for two passionate Non-Medical Prescribers (NMPs) to join our vibrant Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership in Boston and Grantham. Launching in April 2024, this partnership combines the strengths of Turning Point, Framework, and Double Impact to deliver exceptional substance use treatment and recovery services across Lincolnshire. By joining us, you’ll be part of a highly localized approach that supports residents facing multiple challenges throughout Lincolnshire. As a community-based NMP or Pharmacist Prescriber, you’ll empower individuals to transform their lives while receiving the support you need to thrive in a friendly, multidisciplinary team.
Your Role and Responsibilities
In this dynamic role, you will: Conduct opiate substitute treatment (OST) interventions and manage benzodiazepine reductions. Administer detoxification medications and provide relapse prevention support. Perform health care assessments and Blood Borne Virus (BBV) screenings. Collaborate closely with mental health, physical health, and social care services. Participate in local prescriber meetings and receive one-on-one clinical supervision. Contribute to shaping service delivery and ensuring clinically excellent services. You’ll have access to ongoing training and support from our Clinical Services Manager and Clinical Lead, ensuring your professional development is prioritized.
Are You the Ideal Candidate?
If you are a registered nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Council or a qualified Pharmacist with independent prescribing qualifications, we want to hear from you! You should: Be confident in managing prescribing for opiates and alcohol detoxifications. Possess excellent communication skills and be highly organized. Have the ability to create flexible, tailored support packages for clients. Be passionate about helping individuals from diverse backgrounds with empathy and understanding.
