Position Overview
Band 6 ODP/Anaesthetic Nurse Team Leader in Main Theatres/ Treatment Centre at East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust. The role offers an opportunity to develop leadership skills within a team of Anaesthetic Nurses/ODPs.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide clinical leadership to a team of Anaesthetic Nurses/ODPs within the Theatre environment.
* Assume responsibility for the operational management of staff and resources in the absence of the Team Leader.
* Act as a role model and create an environment that promotes excellence in Theatre practice.
* Supervise within a specific area and participate in the recruitment, selection and retention of staff.
* Ensure high standards of patient care and safety.
Working Hours and Schedule
Team available 24/7, 365 days a year. Candidates must be able to work evenings, nights, on calls, bank holidays, and weekends as part of a rotating schedule with other team members.
