We’re partnering with a dynamic £80m turnover business seeking an Interim FP&A Budgeting Specialist to support their finance team during a critical budgeting cycle. Location : Fully Remote Duration : 3–6 months (with potential extension) Day Rate : Competitive, DOE (Outside IR35) The Role You’ll play a pivotal role in leading the annual budgeting process, working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver robust financial plans and insightful analysis. This is a hands-on role requiring both strategic thinking and operational execution. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end budgeting process across all departments Develop and refine financial models to support planning and forecasting Partner with department heads to challenge assumptions and ensure alignment Provide variance analysis and scenario planning to inform decision-making Support the CFO and Group Controller and wider finance team with ad hoc analysis and reporting About You Proven experience in FP&A roles, ideally within mid-sized businesses Strong budgeting and forecasting expertise Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels Available at short notice and comfortable working remotely Why Join?
