IKM Testing in Aberdeen are recruiting a Maintenance Technician, ideally with experience with N2 tanks. Location: Marywell Facility, Aberdeen Overview To play a crucial role within the workshop maintenance team in maintaining and repairing all types of equipment to the highest standard. All equipment must be regularly serviced and maintained in a timely manner with all work carried out recorded on job cards and assisting the rest of the team and workshop department where required. Responsibilities Participate in the daily toolbox talks. Ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest standard. Assist the workshop team where required under the direction of the Planning and Operations Maintenance Co-Ordinator. Identify faults/damage in a timely manner and report to line management. Liaise with the procurement department on placing Purchase/Rental Orders as required. Communicate with the mobilisation team to plan all jobs accordingly and to execute within allocated timeframes. Liaise with the Maintenance Co-ordinator to obtain job cards for every asset being worked on. Carry out your duties and responsibilities adhering to and in accordance with any and all Company Policies, protocols, procedures, risk assessments and systems (including emergency and incident routines) as well as specific site assignment instruction/requirements. Liaise with the Certification Department on all new certificates to be uploaded or recertification and inspection works carried out. Travel to any other sites if and when required in execution of your duties. Integration and management of the equipment tagging system. Maintain HSE compliance, using the SOF system where required. Reporting of all incidents and use ‘stop the job’ where necessary. Report all QHSE related matters to line management. Store all equipment adequately and within the designated areas. Carry out maintenance activities as per job card and MR requirements. Job cards are to be completed for every piece of equipment for stock or prior to mobilising. Implement and maintain high housekeeping standards on a daily basis in the workshop and yard areas. Participate in improvement initiatives and the 5S programme. Ensure all company vehicles and plant/machinery are kept well-maintained and any defects are reported to line management. Work additional hours where required to meet mobilisation deadlines. Drive the company van where required. Assist other departments where required. Mentoring of all trainee personnel and new starts. Experience Required Essential: Experience working within the Oil and Gas Sector. Preferred: Nitrogen tank maintenance experience.
