A Management Accountant is sought to join this family-owned global manufacturing company. A long established SME offering a supportive and friendly environment, with flexible and hybrid working.
Role Overview
The business is seeking a proactive and commercially minded Management Accountant to join the growing finance team. This is a key role supporting financial planning, performance analysis, and strategic decision-making within the business.
Reporting directly into the Finance Director, this role will offer a clear route to FC.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts
2. Support budgeting and forecasting cycles
3. Perform variance analysis and report financial performance to senior management
4. Maintain and reconcile balance sheets, accruals, and prepayments
5. Work with operations and commercial teams to analyse product margins, costs, and KPIs
6. Assist with cash flow forecasting and working capital management
7. Support the Finance Director with financial modelling and ad-hoc projects
8. Develop and streamline finance processes and systems for better efficiency
9. Ensure compliance with internal controls and external financial regulations
Required Skills & Experience
10. Part-qualified or fully qualified CIMA / ACCA / ACA
11. Minimum 2-4 years' experience in a management accounting or financial analysis role
12. Strong Excel skills
13. Solid understanding of manufacturing or product-based costing
14. Excellent communication and analytical skills
15. Proactive and detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
