Join our team as Cellar Supervisor
Chester Race Company is seeking a proactive, team-focused individual to join our Horseradish Team as a Cellar Supervisor.
Based in Chester, this permanent role is integral to the smooth, efficient, and safe operation of our cellar function, ensuring all activities meet company standards and compliance requirements.
You'll play an active role in the day-to-day running of the cellar, managing stock control and deliveries, maintaining equipment and hygiene standards, and ensuring product quality, while collaborating with the wider hospitality team to deliver excellent guest experiences.
General Responsibilities include:
Ensure correct handling and storage of all liquor stock
· Accept deliveries in line with Standards of Procedure and checking condition
· Use of appropriate vehicles to ensure safe transport of stock
· Log all stock movement accurately using our stock system
· Assist with physical monthly counts
· Maintain all cellars and ensure they are tidy and organised
· Ensure high health and safety standards
· Monitor equipment and bar maintenance
· Line cleaning
· Manage pre-event and event day cellars effectively
· Manage cellar team members on events, mentoring where required
Desirable requirements:
· Previous experience in hospitality, warehouse operations, cellar or bar is preferred.
· Full Clean UK Driving License.
· Competent user of IT for system use.
· Strong attention to detail, organisation and time management.

Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum
Hours of work:
40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7.
CRC is an event company; you will be required to work some weekends and evenings. Any work beyond the contracted hours will be eligible for time off in lieu.
CRC has a flexible approach to working hours, which should be agreed with your line manager.
