Are you an experienced Civil Engineer ready to take the next step in your career? Our client, a leading multidisciplinary consultancy, is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their dynamic and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on diverse, high-profile projects, where you'll play a key role in delivering innovative engineering solutions.
Responsibilities
* As a Senior Civil Engineer, you'll take ownership of projects from concept through to delivery. You'll lead the design, planning and management of a variety of civil engineering works, ensuring projects are completed to the highest technical standards, on time and within budget.
* Lead projects to meet time, cost and quality targets.
* Prepare and review detailed technical designs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and InfoDrainage.
* Manage internal and external design consultants as part of coordinated project teams.
* Carry out site inspections to monitor progress, health & safety, and quality standards.
* Approve technical calculations, reports, and documentation for planning, tender and construction stages.
* Support client account management and long-term relationship building.
* Manage project finances, including projections and invoicing.
* Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members.
About You
* Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
* Progressing towards or already achieved Chartered Engineer (CEng/MICE) status.
* Strong technical design background, with experience across a range of civil engineering projects.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proven ability to influence, motivate and lead others.
* Flexible, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
