This is a rare opportunity to join a UK-headquartered international manufacturer during a pivotal period of investment and expansion. Backed by new ownership and private investment, the business is scaling rapidly, with procurement central to delivering a multi-million-pound Capex programmes across production, automation, and site upgrades.
They're hiring a Lead Capex Buyer to drive major capital investments across equipment, engineering, and site infrastructure. Working across multiple UK sites, you'll play a key part in delivering high-value, business-critical projects while gaining exceptional exposure to senior stakeholders and fast-track progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
7. Lead end-to-end procurement of capital equipment, engineering services, and site projects from supplier selection to contract management.
8. Support major investment in production lines, automation systems, and site upgrades.
9. Build strong supplier partnerships to ensure TCO, innovation, value, and long-term reliability.
10. Negotiate high-value, complex contracts with OEMs and service providers.
11. Align closely with engineering and operations to anticipate needs and deliver best-in-class solutions.
Required Experience:
12. 3+ years' procurement experience in categories ideally Capex, Site Services, MRO, or engineering services. Experience across manufacturing and engineering environments preferable.
13. Strong commercial acumen and experience managing large contracts and complex suppliers.
14. Confident communicator with the credibility to influence technical and operational stakeholders.
15. Understanding of capital projects in manufacturing e.g., packaging machinery, conveyors, site infrastructure, or production lines and systems or related / transferable etc…
16. Proactive, down-to-earth approach with the adaptability to thrive in a growing, fast-changing environment.
