Details: This role is to support a Woman. The role will involve domestic tasks required to maintain the home and occasionally making and attending appointments with the employer.
Role Details
Hours per week: 16 hours a week Tuesday and Thursday, 9am - 5pm, with flexibility to accommodate commitments. Employment status: employed. Driving licence required: Yes. Own vehicle needed: Yes. Hourly pay rate: £14.21.
About the Employer
The employer is a friendly woman who has just approached her 50s, living with ADHD and Autism, seeking a support worker to help maintain the family living environment. The employer loves animals; cats and Guinea pigs bring a calming presence to her life.
Duties
* Housekeeping
* Looking after pets
* Laundry, hoovering, dusting, tidying, washing up and putting away
* Looking after pets occasionally
Candidate Qualities
* Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
* Reliable with good timekeeping
* Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
* Hygienic, tidy and well organised
* Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
* Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
* Honest and cheerful
* Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
* Must be comfortable with pets
* Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
* Love animals (the employer has 2 cats and Guinea pigs)
* Able to work on own initiative, as the role will involve completing domestic tasks without supervision
