Job Description
This role is part of the Asset Management Team within Carnival Corporation, providing support to all brands and vessels by analyzing and gathering relevant planned maintenance and asset reliability data. As the ships are operated by different entities, this role requires close cooperation with shipyards, suppliers, brands, and other internal departments.
* Develop and maintain the Carnival Group shared asset management database, based on a unified functional structure and part coding, with procedures for planned maintenance, stock, and inventory optimization.
* Proactively review and analyze fleet asset performance data, benchmark performances between ships, equipment, makers, and third-party data, identify common failures, and formulate corrective actions to review with brands.
* Ensure the asset management database and planned maintenance system comply fully with relevant legislation and ensure fleet safety and reliability.
* Review manufacturer documentation, legislation, and company regulations regularly to ensure PMS updates and compliance.
* Maintain contact with other divisions within Carnival, other shipping companies, classification societies, regulatory bodies, and equipment manufacturers to monitor developments.
* Undertake ad hoc duties as required by the SME Data Manager, Asset Management.
This role is classified as CUK07 and is offered on a full-time permanent basis. Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President), offering clear development opportunities.
About You

* A Degree in Marine, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
* Experience in the cruise shipping or cruise shipbuilding industry.
* Operational knowledge of modern cruise vessel layout, machinery functions, and planned maintenance systems, with expertise in areas such as engine room, HVAC, safety, waste management, or hotel services.
* Operational knowledge of planned maintenance systems like AMOS and InfoShip.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to influence others across different levels and organizations.
* High accuracy and attention to detail.
* The ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
* Eagerness to learn new skills and technologies.
