Stanbrook Abbey Hotel is renowned as one of Worcestershire’s best‑kept secrets. With a recent £4.2m renovation, meticulously designed to celebrate the country house hotel’s history, introduced the new brasserie‑style dining experience in The Refectory restaurant, situated at the site of the original nun’s cafeteria. An additional eight new bedrooms are situated on the second floor, with a further seven rooms built in the original schoolhouse in St Anne’s Wing, bringing the total number of bedrooms to 70.
Responsibilities
* Lead by example and ensure that the Maintenance Team are motivated and inspired to consistently deliver exceptional service, putting the guest at the heart of all activities.
* Be responsible and take ownership of the safety and security of the hotel and all its guests, including maintaining accurate health and safety records.
* Recruit, train and coach a highly motivated team who can maintain the hotel to a consistent level; monitor and improve delivery of company brand standards and SOPs.
* Work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Make clear, confident decisions and consult with others where needed to reach agreed goals.
* Have a good understanding of business financials including labour costs, stock control, forecasting and budgets.

About You
* Ideally have current hotel Maintenance management experience within a 4 or 5 star luxury hotel; previous facility management or trade management experience will be considered.
* Confident with all aspects of the hotel’s maintenance administration, particularly Health & Safety, with a passion for keeping the hotel immaculate and in excellent working condition.
* Proven experience of training and coaching colleagues; enjoy motivating others to be their best.
* Excellent at building a rapport with colleagues and guests.
* Professional, organised and friendly approach with ability to anticipate guest needs and create memories.
