Are you passionate about making a difference in people\'s lives? We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our rural Employment team and help empower patients to achieve their employment goals. This is a fulltime fixed-term 12 months position.
Position
Role: Fulltime - Fixed term 12 months
Responsibilities
* Work with a caseload of patients to assess their employment needs and goals.
* Provide tailored, individual employment advice in collaboration with clinical colleagues.
* Engage with Jobcentre Plus, employers, third-sector organisations and employment agencies to support ongoing employment and secure opportunities.
* Be part of an established team with diverse backgrounds, contributing administration, coaching, career advice, HR, finance, management, nursing, teaching or self-employment experience as appropriate.
* Utilise training and service experience to operate in an inclusive, value-driven service.
Requirements and Conditions
* Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check; the Trust will cover the cost. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service may present a valid DBS certificate instead of a new check.
* Hybrid working is available; however, the post holder is expected to attend the office in Wimborne on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Most work is conducted over the telephone, with occasional face-to-face meetings across Dorset.
* Candidate must own or have access to a car and be willing and able to drive across rural Dorset.
* As many clients are in work during the day, the post may require one evening per week (12 pm to 8 pm).
