Lundy ward is a highly functioning, award-winning, and caring multidisciplinary team that prides itself on delivering quality, safe, and compassionate care. The specialty provides specialized care to patients undergoing surgery, including urology, gynaecology, colorectal, and general surgery. The role involves providing preoperative and postoperative care for surgical patients.

The staff focus on helping patients regain independence post-surgery. The team is supported by nurses, nursing associates, HCAs, clinical educators, therapists, ACPs, and medical staff, collectively driving patient-centered innovation. The role offers excellent career development opportunities.

The candidate should have an interest in surgical nursing, act as a clinical leader, review clinical records, evaluate care standards, and support team improvement. Providing feedback and mentorship is essential.

Proactive involvement in quality and service improvement, working with the Ward Manager and multidisciplinary team, and assisting in clinical standards audits are also required.

A current and valid NMC registration is necessary.

Working Pattern: All posts include working days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays as needed (full-time hours).
