PRIMARY DUTIES include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for providing electrical support and maintaining electrical components throughout the manufacturing plant. This includes troubleshooting, repairs, supporting operations, process improvements, documentation, and training. Must operate safely in a fast-paced environment and maintain equipment. Ability to collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams.
* Inspect, test, adjust, and maintain electrical devices, apparatus, and circuits.
* Collaborate with other maintenance crafts.
* Work in shift rotations and be flexible for overtime.
* Troubleshoot machine issues by observing operations and interacting with staff.
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and process diagrams.
* Perform basic fabrication tasks.
* Plan repairs based on site conditions and available information.
* Operate mobile equipment (cranes, forklifts, scissor lifts, etc.).
* Perform minor mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and rigging work.
* Conduct preventative maintenance, inspecting for defects.
* Use maintenance systems for parts research and ordering.
* Assist engineering with equipment design, repair, or improvements.
* Operate safely, following safety rules and guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum of three years industrial electrical maintenance experience in the past ten years.
* An Associate degree in Electrical Technology or graduation from an acceptable technical institution is preferred.
* Ability to read blueprints, operate vehicles, work at heights, and in various environments.
* Knowledge of programmable controllers, PCs, drive systems, control devices, hydraulic systems, and test equipment is preferred.
* Willingness to upgrade skills through training as technology evolves.
