Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate athletes of all ages. This role involves developing training programmes, enhancing athletes' skills, and fostering a positive team environment.
Responsibilities
* Design and implement training sessions tailored to the needs of individual athletes and teams.
* Teach fundamental skills, tactics, and strategies relevant to the specific sport.
* Monitor and assess athletes' progress, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
* Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude among participants.
* Organise and lead practice sessions, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
* Maintain open communication with athletes, parents, and other coaching staff regarding performance and development.
* Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques and sports science developments.
Experience
* Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching is essential.
* Strong understanding of the sport being coached, including rules, techniques, and strategies.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with athletes of varying ages and skill levels.
* A background in physical education or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: £12.50-£16.00 per hour
