We are a dedicated lodge manufacturer specialising in the design and build of high-quality lodges. As part of our growth, we are currently cutting and assembling Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) in-house, with a strategic plan to begin full-scale manufacturing of our own SIP panels to further streamline and enhance our building process. Job Overview We are looking for a hands-on SIP Panel Fabrication & Assembly Technician to join our growing production team. You will play a key role in cutting, preparing, and assembling SIP panels used in the construction of our lodges. This role also offers the opportunity to grow with us as we develop our in-house SIP manufacturing capabilities. Key Responsibilities Accurately cut and prepare SIP panels based on lodge design specifications and technical drawings Assist with panel layout and modular building assembly Operate machinery such as panel saws, routers and spinal moulders (training provided if needed) Maintain quality control throughout fabrication and assembly processes Ensure workshop safety and cleanliness at all times Contribute to the setup and development of future SIP manufacturing processes Work collaboratively with team members in production, design, and installation Requirements Experience in construction, joinery, carpentry, or modular building assembly Ability to read and follow technical drawings and measurements Familiarity with hand tools and workshop machinery Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Strong team ethic and ability to follow safety procedures Physically capable of lifting panels and standing for extended periods Desirable (but not required) Experience with SIP panels or modular construction methods CNC or panel saw operation experience Forklift or telehandler license Benefits Be part of a growing company focused on modern, sustainable lodge construction Opportunity to grow your skills as we develop in-house SIP manufacturing Join a friendly and supportive workshop environment Contribute to innovative construction methods and product development
