* Days Shifts: 08:00-17:00 Mon-Fri
* Location: Liverpool
* 33 days of holiday (25 + 8 bank holidays)

Person Requirements for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
* Time-served mechanical engineer, preferably from the Food/FMCG industry
* Recognised engineering qualification (e.g., HNC/HND/ONC/OND)
* Experience in fast-paced and challenging working environments
* Mechanically biased engineer with hands-on competency
Job Responsibilities for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
* Work within a large team as the mechanical maintenance engineer, with experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments and a mechanical focus, including automation and PLC tasks
* Collaborate with the Site Engineering Manager, production staff, and technicians to repair process equipment and plant machinery
* Perform mechanical work and be capable of working within controls and automation systems
* Engage in 'dirty' tasks and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical machinery faults
* Conduct planned inspections and proactive maintenance on process plant
* Follow site H&S procedures and report risks via internal reporting processes
