Do you:
* Be good at building relationships with partners to support families get the right support at the right time.
* Have a commitment to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare?
* Have a strong track record of supporting the development of others through supporting students and newly qualified social workers?
* Have a desire to improve the standards of social work as we strive towards outstanding practice?
* Have a clear understanding of what high quality social work assessment and planning looks like?
* Have experience of chairing multi-agency meetings?
* Evidence the skill of offering high challenge and high support to those you are working with?
We are looking for an experienced social worker who are ready to take the next step in their professional career. Within this role you will be responsible for the supervision and day to day support of a small team of social workers who are working with children under a child in need, child protection plan or looked after children. You would be working closely with partners such as education and health to ensure that children and their families have the right support.
We recognise the need to support our practitioners in order to develop and enhance their skills and experience, you will be expected to share your expertise, provide leadership and direction to your staff which in turn will enable them to provide exceptional services to our children, young people and their families.
