Compliance and Marketing Analyst
Location: Birmingham
Contract: 6 Months Fixed Term
As part of the day‑to‑day role within the client’s Compliance team, the primary function is to manage most of the volumes of marketing material that are submitted by various product management, client relationship and sales teams. These materials are submitted for content and jurisdictional reviews to ensure that any external distribution complies with the various regulatory bodies within the EMEA region.
The team controls the pipeline of marketing materials and allocates work across the team to ensure that volumes are completed within prescribed timeframes and reduce volume load on lower capacity members. Queries sent through to the marketing distro are addressed or diverted to relevant team members as needed.
Key Skills and Responsibilities
* Critical eye for detail to ensure material distributed is appropriate for audience and jurisdiction.
* Effective communication, both internally within the team when allocating workload, and with relevant business teams to manage expectations.
* Ability to think independently, navigate guidelines and make clear decisions when advising the business on compliance.
* Strong problem‑solving skills to identify when risk appetite boundaries have been crossed and provide advice on potential solutions to lower risk.
Expectations
Hybrid working: The policy requires a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, with some clients requiring up to 5 days. Candidates must be flexible to meet client demands.
