A progressive and inclusive Church of England secondary school in Barnet is seeking occasional Supply Teachers to join its pool of trusted educators, providing high-quality classroom cover across all key stages when regular teaching staff are absent.
This is a flexible, casual role with assignments available throughout the academic year based on cover needs. Ideal for experienced secondary teachers looking to work on an ad-hoc basis in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver prepared lessons and maintain continuity of learning in the absence of regular teachers
* Uphold high standards of behaviour and engagement in line with the school’s policies
* Adapt quickly to different subject areas and age groups
* Work closely with teaching and support staff to ensure a smooth learning experience for students
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in a secondary school setting
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* Flexibility to cover various subjects across Key Stages 3–5

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
