Gleeson has been exclusively partnered with a Global business looking for a Logistics Project Manager. This role is best suited to a professional looking to grow within a large supply chain business.
Job Title: Logistics Project Manager
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £45-50,000
Responsibilities
* Lead and execute supply chain projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and within budget constraints.
* Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones, and regularly communicate progress to stakeholders.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, logistics, production, and finance, to align project objectives with overall business goals.
* Foster effective communication and cooperation among team members to drive successful project outcomes.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain, implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
* Analyse data and key performance indicators to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
* Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise disruptions in the supply chain.
* Monitor and address any issues that may arise during the project life cycle.
* Work closely with suppliers and third-party partners to ensure alignment with project requirements and timelines.
* Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts to secure favourable terms for the organisation.
Ideal Candidate
* Project Management 3 years+
* Supply chain experience
* Experience with large business accounts (£1m+)
* Excellent communication with stakeholders
* Solutions experience
