DuPont Teijin Films (DTF) is a leading global producer of PET and PEN polyester films specialising in film products and related services for markets and industries including Battery Materials, Durable Cards, Electrical Insulation and Capacitors, Flexible Electronics, Healthcare, Imaging Media, Labels, Packaging, Photovoltaics and many more. DTF is a 50/50 Joint Venture between Celanese Corporation and Teijin Limited. DTF employ approx. 2000 people worldwide with manufacturing sites in Asia Pacific, America and Europe. The UK production site is based in Dumfries, Scotland, and the Global Research & Development Operation is based at Wilton on Teesside.
We have an excellent opportunity for the right person to develop their career into a Control/Electrical technician on our production facility.
The candidate will ideally have the following:
1. Completed a time served electrical apprenticeship.
2. C&G 17th or 18th Edition IEE Regulations qualification.
3. Good understanding of electrical distribution and 3 phase systems.
4. Knowledge of PLC systems would be preferred but not essential as training will be given.
5. Fault finding & problem-solving skills.
Comprehensive training & development will be given to the successful candidate.
Control / ElectricalTechnicians will be part of a flexible plant team required to maintain production equipment and maximise availability of the production assets through a combination of reactive, proactive, preventative and predictive maintenance methods.
This role comes with a competitive remuneration package dependent on skills and experience including optional company pension, health, dental and vision cover.

This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week.
