Territory: Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Northumberland Key Duties and Responsibilities: • Achieve agreed objectives and sales targets as outlined within defined territory within allocated geographical region, interact and promote products to key customers and stakeholders in secondary care. • Manage territory through the development of comprehensive business plans.Focus on highest return/value opportunities to grow and develop new business including taking competitor share and the adoption of new technologies whilst maintaining key customers and core business. • Manage and develop accounts and own the relationship between the Company and the customer, ensuring efficient alignment of all efforts to maximize impact of all activities driving growth. • Be competent and experienced in the operating theatre environment in supporting and training teams in the safe and effective use of our products. • Run training sessions/clinical meetings to position the portfolio to optimize ‘best practice’ in wound management to drive and support product implementation across Acute care settings. • Maintain and hold relevant MIA accreditation and full credentialing cover relevant to each Trust. • Always represent ConvaTec professionally. Candidate Profile: • Graduate or Tertiary level education • NHS clinical experience & Surgical Selling background • Recognised sales or account management experience with evidence of strong success. • You will have a proven track record within a Surgical Sales Market with a minimum 3 year and have demonstrable success and relevant achievement. • A winning spirit and competitive mindset are essential. • A hunter mentality with an entrepreneurial focus and drive. • NHS Clinical as well as Technical Sales background working within an Acute setting. • Evidence/experience of influencing key decision makers and developing relationships with a wide variety of consultant surgeons and clinicians to drive change. • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets • Highly competent at Account Planning and can demonstrate strong prioritisation skills, delivering business objectives and managing multiple projects at a given time. • Knowledge and understanding of IT to include windows, spreadsheets, power point, and CRM with excellent administration adhering to all deadlines and including ad hoc requirements. • Ability to demonstrate good understanding of NHS developments, health reforms, NHS Operating plan, NHS targets, competitor, and own product knowledge. • Experience working with a wide range of specialist and culturally diverse people, influencing them to get things done including cross-functional team working and principles of organisational networking. • You are homebased within territory: Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Northumberland Travel Requirements: • Wide travel within territory daily. • Up to 30% time travelling. Occasional travel off territory to exhibitions, meetings etc. • Approximately up to 20 nights pa in hotels
