About the pub
Red Deer, Sheffield brings people together over premium drinks and live events in stylish surroundings where energy builds from day to night. A full refurbishment is planned to help you drive trade.
Red Deer is located in central Sheffield, very close to the university buildings and one street back from the main Sheffield nightlife strip. The pub is next to the University of Sheffield building, very close to professional offices in the city centre, and within walking distance from the train station.
The area has an over-indexation on low to medium affluence across all travel distances, with a large population of young professionals and students. 54,609 people live within walking distance of the pub. Central Sheffield is highly competitive, with a large number of competing venues, but the Red Deer offers a traditional pub environment in a city centre setting, with no live TV and a more relaxed atmosphere, supported by a small function room on the first floor which is well used.
