Robert Half are working with a professional services business based near Taunton to recruit an organised and proactive Administrator / Client Support Executive.

This is a home-based position, offering flexibility to work either full time or part time. The role would suit someone who enjoys working independently, managing their own day, and supporting clients with efficiency and professionalism.

The Role

You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business. This is a varied administrative position, where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for managing client communication, maintaining accurate records, and providing a high standard of administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth running of client services.

Main responsibilities include:

1. Acting as the first point of contact for client queries, providing professional and timely support
2. Managing client information, contracts, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
3. Scheduling and coordinating client meetings and site visits where required
4. Preparing correspondence, reports, and supporting documentation
5. Maintaining and updating databases, spreadsheets, and internal systems
6. Supporting compliance and operational processes within the business
7. Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure client needs are met effectively
8. Handling ad hoc administrative projects as required

The Person

We're looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working remotely and can manage their workload efficiently.

Key skills and experience:

9. Previous experience in an administrative or client support role, ideally within a professional or service-led environment
10. Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
11. Confident managing multiple tasks and priorities in a deadline-driven setting
12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
13. Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
14. Proficient in Microsoft Office and general business systems
15. Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (occasional travel to client meetings required)
16. Must be based in, or within a commutable distance of Taunton

Salary and Benefits

17. Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
18. Flexible working pattern - full time or part time hours available
19. Home-based role with supportive management and strong work-life balance
