SCHOOL VACANCY – Phase Leader at Woodthorpe Primary School
Woodthorpe Primary School is looking to appoint an inspirational teacher with a proven track record of outstanding practice to the role of Phase Leader.
Position Overview
As Phase Leader, you will be responsible for providing leadership and management of the school’s key stage curriculum, delivering high-quality exemplar teaching and effective use of resources. You will work to improve learning standards and achievement for all pupils, contribute to whole‑school self‑evaluation and school improvement planning, whilst also carrying out duties as a classroom teacher. You will also be responsible for mentoring and developing staff within the phase, and will offer guidance and support to teaching staff; model excellent teaching and learning and showcase up‑to‑date knowledge of current theory and practice.
Ideal Candidate
If you have experience of leading a core subject, and you’re now looking to take your first steps in middle leadership, then this role is ideal for you. You will empower our children with knowledge, ambition and self‑belief, inspiring them to reach their full potential. With the support of the experienced and welcoming leadership team, you will contribute to strategic decision making, to help shape the school’s vision.
