Job Description
Financial Control & Reporting
3. Produce monthly management accounts and financial analysis
4. Prepare annual budgets and forecasts; monitor and report performance vs budget and prior year
5. Oversee year-end audit process and statutory accounts
6. Monitor costs, margins, yields, and overall financial performance
7. Attend board and senior management meetings
Group & Consolidation ReportingTreasury & Cash Management
8. Cash flow and working capital management
9. Treasury operations, including movement of funds between bank accounts
10. Bank facility renewals, covenant compliance, and regular lender reporting
11. Negotiation and management of company insurances
Tax, Payroll & ComplianceStock, FX & Operational Finance
12. Stock valuation for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
13. FX transactions and monthly revaluations
14. Fixed asset register maintenance, prepayments, and accruals
Commercial & Stakeholder Management
15. Primary finance contact for external advisors
16. Negotiation of key commercial contracts
17. Ad-hoc accounting support to group and other external stakeholders
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Controller should have:
18. Fully Qualified - ACCA / ACA / CIMA
19. Experience in the industrial/manufacturing industry is preferred.
20. Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.
21. Proficiency in financial software and tools.
22. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
23. Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
24. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
