We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner / Delivery Lead to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Product Manager and development teams to define and prioritize product features, manage the product backlog, gather user feedback, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products. You will also serve as a bridge between stakeholders, engineers, and other relevant parties, managing stakeholder expectations and driving continuous product improvement. Product Ownership Capability – Knowledge Management:

* You will be part of a team creating a new capability leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to enable searches and insights across several platforms to help Elanco bring new products to market faster
Job Responsibilities:
* Define and prioritize product features in collaboration with the Product Manager, based on user needs, market trends, and business goals.
* Create and maintain the product backlog, working closely with the development team to refine and estimate backlog items.
* Actively seek user feedback and conduct user research to understand their needs, pain points, and preferences.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for the development teams, clarifying requirements, answering questions, and providing technical guidance.
* Ensure the timely and successful delivery of high-quality products, defining acceptance criteria, conducting user acceptance testing, and validating product quality.
* Manage stakeholder expectations by communicating product updates, progress, and changes, and addressing concerns or feedback.
* Continuously seek opportunities for product improvement, collaborating with the Product Manager and engineers to analyze product performance, gather data and insights, and identify areas for enhancement or optimization.
Requirements and Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business) or equivalent work experience.
* Proven experience as a Product Owner or Delivery Lead, preferably in an agile development environment.
* Strong technical aptitude and experience as a software development engineer.
* Proficiency in agile methodologies and practices.
* Experience in vendor management, collaborating with external partners to deliver high-quality products.
* Strong business acumen and the ability to align product strategies with overall business objectives.
* A user-centric mindset, with a focus on understanding and meeting user needs.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
* Strong prioritization and decision-making abilities.
* Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and managing expectations.
* Empathy and a user-focused approach to product development.
* Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
* In-depth domain knowledge in the animal health industry (preferred).
