Job Description
As an Assistant Management Accountant you will be responsible for:
* Overseeing the finance team and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
* Assisting the Finance Manager in budgeting and forecasting activities.
* Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
* Performing financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
* Coordinating with other departments to streamline financial processes.
* Managing financial audits and collaborating with external auditors.
* Participating in the development of financial policies and procedures.
* Contributing to the company's financial strategy and long-term financial planning.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
* Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
* Proven experience in a similar role within the business services industry.
* Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
* Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.
* Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
