We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Manager to join our Adult Safeguarding and Assessment Team. As a Team Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing a dedicated team of social workers, support staff, and professionals to deliver high-quality care and support to vulnerable adults within the Haringey community.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide effective leadership, guidance, and supervision to a team of social workers and support staff.
2. Manage and oversee the allocation of cases, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions for service users.
3. Monitor key performance indicators and targets, providing regular feedback, support, and coaching to optimise individual and team effectiveness.
4. Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to service delivery.
5. Maintain a strong understanding of legislative frameworks and policies to ensure compliance and best practice.
Requirements:
6. A recognised social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
7. Substantial experience in adult social work, with a proven track record in a managerial or supervisory role.
8. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with service users, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
