This is part-time up to around 16 hours a week, and often carried out while the homeowner is out of the house. The range of tasks done by cleaners depends on what the homeowner requires. But they may include any of the following and some more: dusting and polishing furniture cleaning windows vacuuming floors mopping floor tiles ironing clothes washing up pots and pans For the role, you need: To enjoy doing practical tasks. To be dependable and hard-working. Have knowledge of using household cleaning products and materials. The ability to work without being supervised. To have great cleaning standards.
