Job Description
We are recruiting for an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior to join a successful, independent accountancy practice that is looking to add to its dynamic team. Within this role you will be supporting the delivery of bookkeeping, payroll, tax and accounting and audit services to a diverse client portfolio.
The audit element of the role will be approximately 20-30% and as Accounts & Audit Semi Senior, you will work towards increasing your scope of work as experience grows.

As Accounts & Audit Semi Senior your responsibilities will include:
1. Support year-end accounts production and liaise with clients as required
2. Working on audits within a small team including planning, fieldwork through to completion
3. Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for multiple clients
4. Process and manage client payrolls, including statutory returns
5. Assist in the preparation of management accounts, VAT returns, and financial statements
6. Prepare self-assessment tax returns and assist with MTD for clients moving into this area
