Job Description:
We are looking for a Business Development Manager focused on driving revenue through renewals and new business sales.
This role involves selling engineering and construction insights, supported by workflow technology solutions. You will support organizations in the UK across Commercial, Public, and Education sectors, helping them meet their Engineering, Design, Quality, Legal, and Compliance obligations. Your goal is to provide innovative solutions that save resources and mitigate risks. The position is based at our modern Bracknell headquarters, with options for part-time and remote work.
Job Duties:
* Evaluate how company solutions align with clients' goals and strategies.
* Identify new prospects and expansion opportunities within the market.
* Develop customer-specific recommendations and present compelling value propositions to close deals.
* Manage a portfolio of key Construction accounts, using a four-point touch plan to identify upsell and retention opportunities.
* Exceed sales quotas monthly, quarterly, and annually, and grow the sales pipeline for accurate forecasting.
* Provide monthly forecasts using Salesforce and Excel.
* Manage contractual and administrative processes according to internal guidelines.
* Collaborate with team and management to deliver excellent service to existing and potential customers.
Required Experience:
* At least 5 years of professional Inside Sales experience.
* Good listening skills to understand customer pain points and develop tailored recommendations.
* Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills via telephone, email, PowerPoint, Teams, and Zoom.
* Ability to liaise with decision-makers, budget owners, and procurement personnel.
* Strong relationship-building skills with existing and potential customers.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in teams.
* Strong organizational and diary management skills.
* Analytical skills for sourcing new business and developing accounts.
* Proactive in planning to meet sales quotas and responsive to internal and customer requests.
* Proven success in a sales-driven role with a stable employment history.
* Familiarity with the MEDDIC sales methodology is a plus.
