Position Summary

GSK are looking for a Laboratory Analyst to perform analyses and support the effective operation of the laboratory in line with business needs. This role contributes directly to business objectives through accurate data handling, equipment maintenance, and cross-functional collaboration, while ensuring adherence to GxP and Health & Safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties:

* Conduct analyses in accordance with business requirements.
* Accurately input and manage data within company systems.
* Review and verify work generated by colleagues to ensure accuracy.
* Work in a compliant manner and adhere to GxP and Health & Safety legislation.
* Perform equipment checks/calibrations to ensure optimal performance.
* Create, review and update laboratory documentation as required.
* To participate in: Level 1 audits, safety inspections, 5S, driving Continuous Improvement
* Communicate effectively across written formats: reports, internal problem notifications, SOP, LIR, ER, stability documents, change controls, method transfer and analytical methods.
* Actively engage in team and cross-departmental meetings, discussions, and Continuous Improvement activities.

Liaise with:

* Team members and coordinators regarding priorities and schedules
* Managers/Coordinators for authorising of documents, meetings and investigations.
* External suppliers on stock levels, delivery payment and supply issues.
* Maintenance/Service Engineers to ensure work is effectively completed to meet required standards.

Minimum Qualifications

* HNC or 2 years’ experience working in a GXP Laboratory.

Training

* Basic training: Minimum 3 months (dependent on level of previous experience).
* Approximately 2 years to develop knowledge of broad range of analytical techniques.
