We have an opportunity for support workers looking for flexible, rewarding work in a supportive team.
As part of our bank care team, you’ll be able to pick up work when available and when/where suits you across several clients in the South Wales region, providing excellent continuity of care.
Ideally, candidates will have previous experience working with complex needs, brain injury/cerebral palsy, or spinal injuries, though this is not essential. Training will be provided to enable work across various packages in the region.
Pay: Dependent on package (ranges from £14.50 - £15.00 weekdays and £15.50 - £17.00 weekends)
Hours: Flexible, what and where works for you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting and engaging with personalized routines, including hoists.
* Completing daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility.
* Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
* Providing emotional support and companionship.
* Maintaining accurate records and reporting changes in clients’ conditions.
* Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members for comprehensive care.
Requirements:
* A genuine passion for working with people and providing care.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
* Reliability, commitment, and flexibility.
* Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
* Ability to handle challenging behaviors.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
