We’d love to hear from you if you’re: practically experienced in project management processes, administration and systems, including procurement, finance and reporting good at working with all kinds of people and organisations, able to build and sustain strong working relationships familiar with budgeting and able to collate, maintain, analyse and prepare data for reports used to conducting research or analysing evidence (including past findings, market research and understanding audiences) to support decisions comfortable with Microsoft packages, especially Excel, and other systems such as financial and visitor analytics skilled at multi-tasking, prioritising your workload and meeting targets through your thorough and detailed approach to work confident with managing diaries and organising practicalities for face-to-face meetings. Senior Project Co-ordinatorDay to day, you'll be working with the project manager who will also be your line manager and main contact. The collaborative nature of the projects we’re overseeing will see you communicating and working with a wide variety of external partners and stakeholders, ranging from small grassroot organisations to large city councils.You’ll be part of a wider National Trust team known as East Birmingham, Coventry and Solihull who meet regularly to share experiences and learning, either at Birmingham Roundhouse or Coventry Charterhouse. The role is hybrid, allowing work to be done from home, but frequent travel to partner and team meetings within Birmingham and Coventry will be expected. There is office space available if you prefer to work at our main office in Birmingham.In this role, you’ll be following the National Trust’s project management framework to assist the project manager with the smooth delivery of various projects. Tasks will involve administration around financial processes, risk management, issuing progress reports and documenting/minuting board meetings. You’ll frequently be communicating with the projects’ stakeholders and will be supporting the project manager to document and monitor all progress against the project’s schedule, budget and planned outputs, flagging possible issues and documenting any changes as part of change control. Delivery of some physical tasks is also likely, such supporting with community tree planting days or delivering community crafts and outreach sessions.You'll develop your experience and knowledge within project management, whilst working flexibly and in collaboration with others and who enjoy creative problem solving.The National Trust has the motto ‘For everyone, for ever’ at its heart.
