Head of Quality - Balfour Beatty (@one Alliance)
Location: Peterborough (2-3 days a week with hybrid working)

We're now looking for a Head of Quality to take the lead in ensuring exceptional quality standards across engineering, design, and construction activities. This is your opportunity to shape strategy, influence culture, and lead a talented team driving continuous improvement at scale.
What you'll be doing
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Define and lead the @one Alliance Quality Strategy to align with operational and strategic goals.
* Inspire and develop a high-performing team of Quality professionals to uphold and raise standards.
* Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001, alongside all relevant regulatory and stakeholder requirements.
* Drive a culture of data-led continuous improvement, using tools like Power BI and AMS to monitor and enhance performance.
* Lead quality assurance, risk, and compliance initiatives across a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
* Collaborate across SHEQ, delivery teams, and the supply chain to embed best-in-class quality practices.
Who we're looking for
What we're looking for
* A degree or HNC in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.
* Strong understanding of construction techniques, ideally within water or infrastructure sectors.
* Experience developing and delivering Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
* Proven leadership in multi-disciplinary teams, with a focus on collaboration and innovation.
* Solid knowledge of auditing, compliance, and quality assurance systems.
* A CSCS card and Lead Auditor certification (desirable).
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to driving change and excellence.
