To provide high-quality care for patients with respiratory conditions across inpatientwards,outpatientclinics,andmultidisciplinaryteamsettings.Thepost holder will work as part of the Respiratory Medicine team, supporting consultants and contributing to service delivery, education, and clinical governance.

Skills, Knowledge & Aptitude
Essential criteria
1. •Meet the requirements of the GMC’s Good Medical Practice.
2. •Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
3. •Ability to know own limitations & when to seek advice
Desirable criteria
4. Computer/IT Research skills
Experience
Essential criteria
5. •Can demonstrate successful completion of foundation competencies
6. •Minimum 2 years post-graduate training, including at least 6 months in Respiratory Medicine and/or Acute Medicine.
7. •Competence at pleural aspiration and chest drains with pleural ultrasound experience.
8. •Competence in managing common respiratory conditions (COPD, asthma, pneumonia). Including outpatient management.
9. •Ability to work independently within agreed protocols.
10. •Good communication and team-working skills.
11. •Commitment to CPD and clinical governance
12. 12 months working in the NHS
Desirable criteria
13. Evidence of involvement in audit & research projects
14. MRCP (UK) or equivalent
15. Experience in bronchoscopy or EBUS.
16. Teaching experience (undergraduate/postgraduate)
