Job Overview

We are seeking a professional and organised Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth daily operations by providing excellent customer service, managing administrative tasks, and maintaining an efficient front desk environment. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, representing the organisation with professionalism and courtesy. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop valuable administrative skills within a dynamic workplace.

Duties

* Greet visitors and clients promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive first impression
* Answer incoming phone calls with proper phone etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
* Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate meetings using organisational tools
* Handle data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
* Maintain the reception area in a tidy and welcoming condition
* Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and processing correspondence
* Perform general clerical duties including typing documents, managing mail, and updating records
* Support office staff with various administrative responsibilities as required

Skills

* Proven office experience or clerical experience demonstrating organisational ability
* Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
* Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to interact professionally with clients and colleagues
* Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment
* Fast typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry
* Ability to adapt quickly to new software or procedures as needed
* Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented attitude

This position is ideal for candidates who are highly organised, personable, and eager to contribute positively to our organisation's success.

Pay: £12.21-£15.20 per hour

Expected hours: 13 – 15 per week
