My client are a busy and well-established business based in Droitwich seeking a highly capable Assistant Accountant to join the team on a part-time basis (around 3 days a week).
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills and confidence working with data-driven systems. You\'ll be responsible for core administrative and financial duties to support the smooth running of the operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and manage sales data in preparation for invoicing
* Produce weekly and monthly invoices and customer reports
* Process weekly wages and monthly salaries (across circa 30 staff)
* Prepare nominal ledger journals and reconcile trial balance monthly
* Assist with quarterly-in-advance (QIA) invoicing
* Respond to customer queries regarding insurance and QA
* Provide ad hoc customer reports as needed
What We\'re Looking For
* Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel (including Pivot Tables & VLOOKUPs)
* Analytical thinker with high attention to detail
* Comfortable working with large volumes of data
* Able to follow defined processes and work independently
* Experience with Sage Line 50 and IRIS Payroll ideally
