HR Administrative Assistant
Location: Waterbeach, Cambridge
Salary: £29,000 per annum
Type: Full-time, Permanent (Monday–Friday, 9am to 5pm)
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a HR Administrative Assistant to provide essential support in both facilities coordination and HR administration.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with daily facilities administration, including office maintenance, space planning, and liaising with external contractors and vendors
*
Support HR functions, such as onboarding new starters, arranging inductions, and processing paperwork
*
Maintain accurate records in HR systems and facilities databases
*
Handle general administrative duties: scheduling meetings, document preparation, minute-taking, and filing
*
Coordinate health & safety tasks and ensure compliance (e.g., equipment checks, fire safety documentation)
*
Support ad-hoc projects across both facilities and HR teams as required
Required Skills & Experience
*
Strong administrative and organisational skills
*
Excellent verbal and written communication
*
Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities across different functions
*
Experience with HR systems or facilities administration is desirable
*
Confident user of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel
