Formby Hall Golf Resort and Spa has an exciting opportunity for a Reservations Co-Ordinator to join our Sales Team reporting directly to our Revenue Manager. Who are we? Set in 200 acres of lush green landscape, we offer the perfect escape for those wanting a relaxing spa break, be it as a member, day visitor or residential guest. What’s the role? The role is heavily dependent on strong interpersonal and conversation skills as you will be the first point of contact for guests booking overnight stays. The post holder will display excellent customer service with a flair for sales and converting enquiries into bookings. Key responsibilities include: To take reservations for the whole resort efficiently and effectively using the in-house reservations system. To have a thorough understanding and comprehensive knowledge of all hotel rates and special offers which are communicated through direct customers, tour operators and corporate clients. To have a thorough knowledge of different bedrooms on offer to allow you to maximise yield and sales Ensure that all enquiries and correspondence are followed up within the specified time. To have a thorough knowledge of procedures and promotions which you would use in customer conversations. Ensure effective team working and communication with other departments, especially reception and housekeeping. Ability to maximise revenue at every opportunity.
