What You’ll Do:
1. Safely Operate a Class 2 Refuse Collection Vehicle: Drive responsibly around local routes, ensuring the safety of pedestrians, other vehicles, and your team.
2. Team Collaboration with Loaders: Work closely with the loading team to ensure timely and efficient collection.
3. Assist with Loading When Necessary: Occasionally lend a hand with loading tasks, fostering teamwork and ensuring all refuse is collected efficiently.
4. Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
What You’ll Need:
* Conduct Vehicle Checks and Keep Paperwork Up to Date
* Adhere to Health and Safety Procedures
* Valid HGV Class 2 Licence
* Valid CPC and Digi Card
* Good Attitude and Team Spirit
* Safety Boots and Hi-Vis
* Licence with No More Than 6 Points
Hours and Pay:
* Start between 06:45 and 07:00 for a structured work schedule.
* Competitive per hour, reflecting the importance and responsibility of the role.
