About the Role We are seeking a confident, motivated individual with strong industry experience in Bricklaying and Groundwork. As a Lecturer in Bricklaying & Groundwork, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality teaching across practical and theoretical sessions, helping learners gain the skills and confidence they need to succeed in the industry. What You’ll Be Doing • Delivering engaging, high-quality teaching and assessment across a range of levels • Supporting learners through tutorials, guidance, and pastoral care • Contributing to curriculum development to ensure our programmes remain current and industry-focused • Managing associated administrative tasks with accuracy and professionalism What You’ll Need • Proven industry experience in Bricklaying, Groundwork, or Construction • A minimum Level 3 vocational qualification in Bricklaying or a related trade • Strong technical knowledge and a passion for sharing your expertise • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to helping learners achieve their goals Why Join Us? This teaching role and course is eligible for levelling up premium payments you could qualify to receive an extra payment of up to £6,000 per year, after tax. This payment is separate from teachers’ pay. You can claim your payment if you are in your first 5 years of teaching in FE, teach at least 2.5 hours per week and meet the full eligibility criteria.
